Commissioned photography is available for editorial and commercial clients requiring bespoke photographic work tailored to a specific brief, concept, or narrative.
Each commission begins with a detailed discussion around intent, scope, usage, and visual direction. Projects are developed collaboratively, allowing the photography to respond organically to subject matter, environment, and context rather than relying on formulaic production.
Commissions may include portraiture, documentary work, travel-based storytelling, architectural subjects, or long-form visual narratives. Assignments can be produced on location or across multiple locations, depending on project requirements.
I work with 35mm full-frame digital, as well as medium and large format film, selecting the appropriate format based on the pace of the assignment, tonal requirements, and final use.
Commissioned projects are quoted individually and reflect shooting time, production complexity, and licensing. Editorial and commercial usage is licensed separately and clearly outlined in advance. Travel, assistants, post-production, permits, and specialized equipment are estimated as needed.
